Do I have to use the body shop that my insurance company recommended?

No. You are allowed by California State law, Insurance Code 758.5, to choose the facility that will repair your vehicle. We guaranty our repairs 100%. It is your right to choose whatever shop you want to repair your vehicle.

Do I need more than 1 estimate?

No, it is up to you to decide how many estimates you would like and if you want to discuss the repairs with more than one shop. If you have selected a shop, have your insurance company deal directly with them, with notice to you.

What kind of guarantee do you offer?

26 Auto Body, Inc. guarantees all repairs for as long as you own your vehicle and you will be provided with a copy of our written warranty.

How long will the repairs take?

Repairs vary depending on the amount of damage to your vehicle. We do our best to repair all vehicles in a timely manner. We will be better able to address this question when you come in for your free estimate.

What about my deductible?

If it has not been waived by your insurance company, we will collect your deductible upon completion of your repairs. California State Law forbids any auto body from waiving your deductible. Any occurrence of this is considered to be Insurance Fraud.

Can you match my car paint color of my vehicle?

Today’s modern factory finishes incorporate multiple layers of highly specialized paints. 26 Auto Body has made a major investment in the finest paint system available and constantly upgrades its technology and equipment to ensure that each vehicle’s paint matches. We take special pride in our ability to match factory finishes as the final step in the restoration process.

 How can I get a rental car?

If you need a rental car, we can help you make the necessary arrangements. Insurance companies will only pay for a rental car if you have that option on your policy or if you are the claimant. Check your policy and/or call your insurance company to find out if you have rental coverage and what your specific limitations are.

 How will I know when my car is done?

You will be notified by phone when your vehicle is ready to be picked up. Feel free to call or e-mail us during the repair process if you have questions or concerns.
